Wednesday was a big day for us at Queen City Brewery. With expert assistance from Demag Riggers, we unloaded three 40-ft. containers of stainless steel: the steam-jacketed brewhouse (mash tun, lauter tun, brew kettle, and hot liquor tank), six 15-barrel fermenters, two 15-barrel brite tanks, and a huge amount of piping, valves, and other parts. Here are a few photos.

Riggers move a 15-bbl fermenter into an upright position.

Experts gently move tanks into their temporary location. We will move them again after the new brewery floor is completed.

Maarten and Paul take a look.

A view from the mezzanine.

We are storing the equipment in the future tasting area while we finish up the brewery construction.
